Singing Nettles

Come sing with us!

Singing Nettles is a community a capella folk song group. All ages and abilities are welcome.

Each event starts with a participatory workshop to learn some new songs and skills from a rotating cast of teachers.

Workshop teachers bring songs from a variety of cultures, not always but mostly stemming from American and European folk traditions. Depending on the theme of the evening, we may focus on harmonies, vocal technique, foreign language lyrics, or history of songs and traditions.
